Valentine’s is a day to celebrate love not just between lovers , but you can also use this day to cherish anyone dear to you platonically  or even just celebrate it to celebrate yourself as self-love is really important. There are many activities that a person can do. With university and work deadlines, you may feel stressed or overwhelmed and need a break.   A chill and relaxing day at the spa is what we need to rejuvenate ourselves and what better day than Valentine’s to go to a spa and treat ourselves.

This Valentine’s Day, you can go out and have a great time with close friends by visiting Chinatown in London, where the festivities of the recently concluded Lunar New Year are still ongoing and the food options are expected to be exceptional.

Another option is to make a positive impact on society by volunteering at the NHS.  This would assist the overburdened healthcare system and fulfil the requirements for obtaining a RED Award. If you prefer a more relaxed evening, you can indulge in a comforting meal, such as hot and sour chicken or tofu, while watching a favourite movie or playing online games with friends. Alternatively, you may choose to start a new hobby, such as baking, and surprise friends with fresh baked cookies.

Valentine’s Day is an occasion to celebrate love, which can manifest in many ways. You may use this opportunity to show appreciation for those close to you or to indulge yourself by purchasing a desired item or playing your favourite game. Prioritizing self-care is an important aspect of loving others, so take this day to pamper yourself. Personally, I will be celebrating by preparing spicy chicken wings and watching anime with my sisters. Ultimately, the goal of this day is to have fun and enjoy the celebrations and have fun.
