Recent birds on Whiteknights Campus

Hi everyone

A few interesting and some what abundant species seen on campus in the last few weeks in the cold weather

1x a Kingfisher restricted to the unfrozen edge of the lake

50+ Fieldfares brilliant birds

60+ Redwings

    I have seen Bullfinches in the Harris Gardens just the other day. Quite rare on campus I think, i’ve been here for 5 years and only seen them twice. Hopefully they are becoming regulars here as they are fantastic birds.
