You have the oppotunity to take part in a paid project to develop a mapping app with students from Agricultural & Environmental Sciences, Typography and Systems Engineering.
The placement is open to 1st and 2nd year students in SBS.
- You must be interested in biodiversity monitoring and recording and keen to gain research experience.
- You will commit at least 50 hours over 2 terms. There is a bursary of £400 available. Start date mid-October 2013.
- You will gain species identification & recording skills and participation in the project will enable you to complete the core activity for a RED award
The challenge is to help develop a user-friendly app which can be used in teaching and research in Agriculture, Biological & Environmental Sciences. You will help promote use of the app among peers.
