You have the oppotunity to take part in a paid project to develop a mapping app with students from Agricultural & Environmental Sciences, Typography and Systems Engineering.
The placement is open to 1st and 2nd year students in SBS.
You must be interested in biodiversity monitoring and recording and keen to gain research experience.- You will commit at least 50 hours over 2 terms. There is a bursary of £400 available. Start date mid-October 2013.
- You will gain species identification & recording skills and participation in the project will enable you to complete the core activity for a RED award
The challenge is to help develop a user-friendly app which can be used in teaching and research in Agriculture, Biological & Environmental Sciences. You will help promote use of the app among peers.
