Guest Talk: Doctors as Authors: The reception of medical fiction in the 1890s professional press
On Tuesday, 25th October, at 5pm the Medical Humanities Reading Group is proud to present their first guest speaker of 2016: Alison Moulds, presenting ‘Doctors as Authors: The reception of medical fiction in the 1890s professional press’
Alison is a PhD student at the University of Oxford, whose research focuses on the construction on the doctor/patient relationship in Victorian medical writing and fiction.
This 20 minute talk will be held in G07 Humss Building, in the English Department, followed by an opportunity to socialise and discuss. There will, as always, be cake provided.
