TThe Final Season at Silchester needs YOU!
The Silchester ‘Town Life’ project is back for its 18th and final season. I can hardly believe it as I write those words. When I stood next to a JCB in July 1997, gesticulating over a greenfield, and saying the equivalent of ‘dig here’, I had no idea that 18 years on we would still be here! And certainly no idea that we would achieve so very much in so very many ways.
So, my blog is back! And I will do my best to entertain and inform you over the next 8 weeks……
Welcome back. Looking forward to the updates. Hope to manage one visit again this year. Renewing my acquaintance with Silchester going back nearly 60 years now.
