  • Summarise key points and allow learners to check their own understanding

In the Begin Robotics materials, learners viewed clips covering how to make a robot move in different directions. To make that material more accessible, we also gave them a summary of key points, with gaps. These prompted students to assess their own learning by trying to fill in the gaps themselves.

Answers to these gaps were presented on a final slide.

All of this was translated by a Deaf BSL Signer – see Figures 1 and 2
