Heart Health: a Beginner’s Guide to Cardiovascular Disease.

Our cardiovascular experts at University of Reading from School of Biological Sciences, Pharmacy and Food and Nutrition have jointly put together a free short online course.This short course is for 3-4 hours per week for 4 weeks and is about to start its second run on the 11th May.The first run of the course was a great success and was taken by a wide range of people eager to learn about the cardiovascular system and the diseases that affect it. We had participants aged from 7 to 90, including A-level students from home and abroad, medical professionals, and of course lots of patients or friends/family of patients.
