New Look
For the new year, we’ve adjusted the books on the shelves. Books on the highest shelves which are hard to reach are now re-shelved at lower levels. All books are now arranged for easy access. If you can’t find your books as before please don’t hesitate to enquire for assistance at the Information Desk. However, available books can be easily found as the shelves are labelled with Call Number ranges that indicate the location of the books.
Do provide us feedback if you’ve any comments about the new arrangement.
Deepavali 2018
In conjunction with the Deepavali Celebrations, the LRC will be closed on the following dates:
5 to 7 November (Mon-Wed)
Normal operating hours resumes on 8 Nov.
The LRC wishes all a very Happy Deepavali.
14 Sept Closing time
On 14 Sept, Friday, the LRC will close at 6pm instead of 7pm. This is to allow indoor air quality treatment at the LRC office area.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

There are 2 new online resources starting this month.

Focus Malaysia is a business weekly news that touches on corporate affairs, personal wealth, economics and current affairs.

Kanopy
Do you need to take a break from your studies?
Let your mind rest by watching streaming movies, documentaries, short film, etc.
We currently have trial access to Kanopy until 25th May.
Kanopy is a video streaming service that gives you access to thousands of films from a range of producers, on subjects as broad as politics, gender and LGBTQ+ stories, dance, literature, early film, and classic cinema. Opening Hours 1-15 Apr
The LRC will be having new opening hours for the 1st 2 weeks of April 2018 as follows:
1-15 April
Monday – Friday : 8.30am to 7pm
Saturday and Sunday : Closed
Campus Open Day 24 Mar
The Campus is having an Open Day this Saturday, 24 Mar. Student ambassadors will be bringing the visitors to tour the premises. One of the stops will be the LRC. Please note that you might expect a bit of a noise and distraction throughout the day.
Nevertheless, you’re welcome to invite your friends and family members to join in the crowd and get to know your place of study.
CNY Opening Hours
In conjunction with the Chinese New Year Celebrations, the opening hours will be as follows:
12-14 Feb (Mon-Wed) 8.30am to 5.30pm
15-18 Feb (Thu- Sun) Closed
Normal opening hours will resume on 19 Feb (Mon).
