We would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new team of Student Voice Ambassadors.
13 enthusiastic and creative students from a range of courses and backgrounds put themselves forward to form a team of Student Voice Ambassadors, helping the Student Success and Engagement team (SSE) represent the thoughts, views and opinions of all students on all aspects of university life.
In 2020/21 we want to represent students like never before by better supporting our vast and diverse student community; international students, Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic students, Postgraduate students, commuter students, those who are the first in their family to attend university, disabled students, care leavers, care experienced students and more.
The Student Voice Ambassadors will help us to:
- Support the building of online communities
- Create social media content, blogs and vlogs for the Student Life blog – showcasing the reality of student life
- Launch new social media platforms
- help SSE with ideas on how we can better support under-represented communities,
- Give guidance, views, and opinions on student communications and engagement activity
- Promoting our support services and digital resources around the University
And so much more!
So, watch this space! We will be introducing our new team on our social media platforms – Twitter, and they will be contributing to the Student Life blog, so make sure you check it out.
Thank you for reading.
