The Me@Reading portal is one of the main channels that you (UoR students) can access important university news, interesting articles and some of the details surrounding upcoming events. It’s a ‘one-stop-shop’ for all your key resources, from Blackboard to emails, timetables and more.
Your Me@Reading profile is individual to you. For example, if you’re studying English, you’ll receive all of the necessary information from your department (in this case the English department), as well as other content that you may be interested in viewing. So, it’s a great way of making sure that you’re all up to speed and kept in the loop with everything that is going on across the university.
Logging in
If you are a new student with us, please remember to use <username>@student.reading.ac.uk when you sign in. Replace <username> with your own username, which you obtain when you complete your enrolment and consists of 2 letters and 6 numbers.
An example of this would be if you had a username of ab123456. In this case, you would log in using your student email, which would be: ab123456@student.reading.ac.uk, then you type in your password and you are in.
There may be times where you need to go through an extra verification process, which would involve a phone call to the number you registered to confirm that it is you who is trying to gain access, then after confirmation, you will be taken to the Me@Reading dashboard.
