what you need to know about end of term and travel

Yellow background, text: What you need to know. Covid-19 update 16/11/20
  1. If you are planning to travel for the Christmas break, the government asks that you do so during a ‘student travel window‘ from 3 to 9 December.
  2. If you cannot travel by 9 December, the government advises a further period of restricted contact before or after returning home to minimise risk of transmission.
  3. To support students to travel in a safe and orderly way, in line with the government guidance, we will finish all face-to-face teaching by 9 December.
  4. All online provision, including interactive online sessions for those who cannot attend face-to-face teaching, will continue – so you can still study remotely until 11 December.
  5. We are investigating several options to provide you with rapid COVID-19 testing prior to the end of term.
  6. From 3 December – 22 December, we will continue the same arrangements for our on-campus facilities as during lockdown, with reduced study space from 9 December.
