What is Study Smart?

Study Smart is an online course designed solely for Reading University students by our Study Advice and Online Course teams. It contains videos, infographics and tips to support you with the academic transition to university level study. There are also active discussion boards, and the opportunity for you to ask questions and find out about the services here to support you to succeed.

Access the resources and download a certificate

Once you have enrolled on Study Smart you will retain access to the resources for your entire degree. You can also download a certificate of completion, which some of you will be asked to upload onto your Blackboard pages, or take to your Academic Tutor meeting.

So helpful and a really useful point of reference which I know I’ll return to and use many times! (Speech and Language Therapy student)

How to enrol

If you’re a first year Undergraduate or foundation year student simply click on this link to register and get started: Study Smart.  You can complete the course in your own time and, once enrolled, can return to the course at any time.
