Get behind our team of students who will be bringing their knowledge to the screen in this season’s final of the iconic BBC Two student quiz show, University Challenge.
The team’s winning streak has only been interrupted once, by Imperial College London, who they will be facing in the final.
Ahead of Monday’s final, Sylvian, Margaret, Michael and Kira said:
“The competition has been a roller-coaster for us so far. We have come up against some very good teams, and enjoyed some close matches. Imperial are a superb team, and probably the season’s favourites. They have already beaten us once, so we are definite underdogs going into this! Sometimes that’s no bad thing.”
Reserve team member Sarah Turvey has maintained her support for her teammates the whole way through: “As the rounds progressed buzzer practice became more important and a push for the final matches paid off…an afternoon of quick-fire questions just before the semifinals secured a win.”
Join us for our finale viewing party on Monday 4 April 5pm to 10pm, Mojos RUSU.
No booking necessary. Free to attend. Food and drink available. Screening starts at 8.30pm. Also watch at Park Eat and The Dairy.
