Announcing Reading Student Pride Week! A week of intersectional talks and activities on the 9th, 10th and 11th May in collaboration with the wonderful LGBT+ Staff Network at the University.

LGBTQIA+ Disability and Neurodivergence | Monday 9th May in 3sixty
- 9:30 -10:30 – Coffee Morning – Come have a coffee, meet people and start the day
- 11:10 -11:30 – The basics of BSL and learn some LGBTQIA+ sign
- 12:10 – 12:50 – Opening to Pride week & personal experience by Allan Laville
- 13:00 – 14:30 – Exploring sex as a disabled and neurodivergent LGBTQIA+ person by SWAD
- 14:30 – 15:30 – TED Talk and Tea – Listen to a TED Talk and meet other people
- 16:00 – 16:30 – Student and Staff Speakers
- 16:30 – 17:30 – Keynote Speaker – Bea Wood
Careers and Volunteering Fair for LGBTQIA+ Students & Body, Mind & Spirit | Tuesday 10th May in Mondial
- 10:00 – 16:00 – Careers & Volunteering Fair in 3sixty
- 8:30 – 9:30 – Pride Breakfast – Come have a bite to eat before you start the day
- 9:30 – 11:30 – Support for LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse and violence – Galop
- 11:30 – 12:00 – Pride Knitting
- 12:00 – 13:00 – Lunch
- 13:00 -14:30 – Pride Paint and Destress – Learn how watercolour lends itself to greater mindfulness
- 15:00 – 16:00 – Mindfulness in the Harris Gardens (Meet at the Chaplaincy)
- 16:00-17:00 – Story of LGBT+ Switchboard what they do and how to get involved – LGBT+ Switchboard
- 17:00 – 17:30 – Anglican chaplain will be hosting an inclusive Holy Communion
Trans+ – exploring inclusion within the LGBTQIA+ community & LGBTQIA+ within the BAME community | Wednesday 11th May in Mondial & 3sixty (some programme still TBC)
