With the upcoming holiday, there’ll be some changes in our catering hours across all of our catering venues and cafes. Check out our summary below of the opening and closing times of the catering facilities across the Whiteknights and London Road campuses.

Don’t forget! If you’re staying on campus over Christmas they’ll be a Christmas Dinner available from 12:00 – 17:00 at Park House. There’s no need to pre-book, just come along on the day for a tasty Christmas lunch. 

Catering venues opening hours: 

The Dairy (London Road) 

Up until 21 December normal hours (with the exception of the 10 December  and 17 December closed when the Dairy will be closed). 

The Dairy will be closed from the 22 December to the 1 January.

The Dairy will reopen on the 2 January, with Deli Counter food options only. 

From 3 January the Dairy will be open as normal.  

 
Eat At The Square

Open 9 December  – 10 December as normal serving food from 12noon until 8pm) 

Open 11- 21 December – opening hours 8am until 3pm ( Serving breakfast and lunch)

Closed from 22 December until 1 January

Open 2 January to the 5 – opening hours 8am until 3pm (Serving breakfast and lunch) 

Closed from the 6 to 7 January. Re-opening 8 January as normal. 

 

Park House

Up until 23 December Park House will be open everyday, normal hours.

Christmas Eve (24 December)  – open 12-5pm

Christmas Day (25 December)  – open 12-5pm (No need to pre-book, just turn up on the day) 

Boxing Day (26 December) – open 12-5pm

27-30 December everyday as normal

31 December 8pm close (with food being served until 7pm)

1 January onwards – open everyday as usual 

St Patricks Hall

8 December will be the last day of normal catering services. From the 9 December to 5 January St Patricks Hall will be closed. Catering will reopen from the 6 January as normal. 

Wantage Hall

8 December will be the last day of catering services. From the 9 December to 7 January Wantage Hall will be closed. Wantage Hall will reopen from the 8 January as normal. 

Park Eat

Park Eat be closed from the 9 December, and will reopen on the 6 January. The Front Desk will remain open (apart from the closure period 22 December to 1 January) 

Café opening hours: 

Breakfast Box Café
Closes on the 8 December
Reopens on the 8 January

Agriculture and Trilobite Cafés
Closes on the 15 December
Reopens on the 2 January


Dolche Vita and Library Cafés
Closes on the  21 December
Reopens on the 2 January
Both Dolche Vita and the Library Café will have reduced opening hours throughout the vacation period,  and will be closing at 16:00 from Monday 11 December


Henley Business School and Enterprise Café
Closes on the 21 December
Reopens on the  2 January

Clever Cuisine Meal Swipes 

Throughout the vacation period you will still be able to purchase food using Meal Swipes at: The Dairy (London Road), Eat At The Square. 

Park House will also be accepting Meal Swipes when Eat At The Square is closed from the 22 December until the 1 January, and 6 until the 7 January. 

Blocks of 30 Meal Swipes (valid until 31st July 2024) for £149.70 will be available to purchase that can be used at any time, online and in person at the Front Desk located at Park Eat nearer the end of term.
