The world is in peril; join our league of musical super heroes to vanquish evil once and for all. Seize your instrument, band together with local musicians, and join Festival Sinfonia to create a performance celebrating heroes and villains from myths, legends, and blockbuster movies. The fate of the world rests on your shoulders, will you accept the mission?

Rehearsals and Performance:
Festival Sinfonia learn the music over the course of two Friday evenings and one full Saturday rehearsal, before moving to Reading University Students Union on the second Saturday for the dress rehearsal and performance. Attendance of all rehearsals is required, and the timetable can be downloaded from the Member Zone.

Performers will work together in intensive rehearsals with professional orchestral tutors – take a look at our video from our inaugural festival to see what the orchestra got up to. Tickets for the performance are available from our online store, click here for more information.
All performers are required to register to take part here. Orchestral parts are usually distributed first come, first served. The Together Festival 2019 welcomes the full range of orchestral instruments, including alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, and piano. If you have any questions, please email music@reading.ac.uk and we can confirm if a part is ready for your instrument.
The Together Festival is free for Music at Reading members, with a small fee for non-members; all performers are required to buy a Music at Reading t-shirt for the performance.
