In November 2012, the Reading branch of the European Law Students’ Association organised a trip to The Hague for 25 students and 2 staff. During the Trip they visited The Peace Palace which holds the International Court of Justice and The Permanent Court of Arbitration, The International Criminal Court where they watched the case of Jean Pierre Bemba, Eurojust, and the Dutch Parliament. All who attended the trip found it very interesting and learnt a lot about the various international legal institutions they visited. The trip was very generously sponsored by a Reading Alumnus.
