There are two Choirs here at UoR Music – the University mixed-voice choir directed by Artistic Director, Victoria Ely and RUMS Choir led by one of our students, Ethan Willets.
The University choir sings a range of music, where you are sure to find something that suits your taste – from classical to pop, some Disney or even some musical theatre.
Members of the choir should have the ability to follow along with sheet music (can follow it up and down and know basic note lengths) and a desire to sing.
The choir runs on Thursday evenings, 19.30-21.30 in L29, G01 and is open to all UoR students, staff and alumni.
Out of respect for fellow choir members, musicians should be prepared to commit to arriving punctually and attending every rehearsal unless there is a valid reason approved by the director in advance.

RUMS choir is an inclusive group that welcomes all students, regardless of their ability to read music. They perform a diverse repertoire, including popular music, musical theatre and iconic songs from films, focusing on learning by ear in a fun and supportive environment.
RUMS choir runs on Wednesdays, 19.15-20:45 in L29, G01 and is open to all UoR students who are members of the RUMS society.
To be a part of RUMS Choir, you must be a current student and a member of RUMS.
