Dr Elizabeth Page has been made a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Senior Fellowship confers national recognition on those in Higher Education who provide evidence of a sustained record of effectiveness in relation to teaching and learning, incorporating the organisation, leadership and management of specific aspects of teaching and learning provision. Senior Fellows are experienced members of staff able to demonstrate impact and influence through responsibility for leading and organising programmes and acting as subject mentors supporting those new to teaching. Congratulations to all our Graduates
Well done to our graduating students of 2013! Shown are a few of our new graduates shortly after the ceremony on Wednesday. Following the traditional hat tossing one of the mortar boards got away and managed to find its way to the arch above the library door – see picture below.
After the ceremony at London Road graduands, parents and staff collected for a drinks reception in the Department of Chemistry where prizes and certificates were presented.
We wish our new graduates well for the future.
