Cancelled: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat

An update about the forthcoming Spring Concert – ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat’ tomorrow evening (on Saturday 14^th March). Due to the developing coronavirus situation we have unfortunately made the difficult decision to cancel this event.

Our primary concern is to protect the health of our University community and, by extension, our wider community including visitors and guests. Our Major Incident Group is meeting regularly to monitor the situation closely and follow Public Health England (PHE) and UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) advice.

We will continue to operate our core business as normal, including in-person teaching and activities, and will keep this position under review. However, some events that are not critical to our core business, or that represent an elevated risk, may be cancelled on an individual basis following careful consideration of each case.

We understand that this news will be disappointing and would like to reassure you that it is not a decision we have taken lightly.

For those of you who have purchased a ticket, we will be offering a credit note for you to put towards attendance at one of our future events, or offer a full refund if you would prefer. We will be in touch in the coming weeks with further information about how to do this.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and do hope to see you at a future Music at Reading event soon.
