Green Careers Networking

We are pleased to announce that representatives from the Environment Agency, JBA, Evoke Transport, The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and a few other organisations will be attending these sessions. If you attend the networking session, please remember to bring your own cup.  After all, small actions like this can make a huge difference to our environment. There are a variety of indicators of a sustainable career choice including health, happiness and productivity. In other words, a satisfying family life fits with the individual’s core values. Another indicator is the security to meet economic needs as well as flexibility to allow for life changing situations. What is also key is that the workforce is allowed regular rejuvenating opportunities.

Another event which may be of interest is Insight into Sustainability in Business with Henley Business School on 27 November at 18:00 – 19:00 in Room G15. We are pleased to welcome Dr Hyemi Shin of Royal Holloway University who will be giving her insights on the role sustainability plays within the modern business world.

Don’t forget that if you want to gain a qualification which demonstrates your commitment to sustainability, sign up for the Sustainability RED Award. This award will appear on your degree transcript.

We hope you take full advantage of these opportunities and if you want to discuss your individual career aspirations, please arrange a meeting with one of our Careers Consultants via MyJobsOnline.
