We are extremely proud to announce that the University of Reading’s Thrive Career Mentoring Scheme has been shortlisted for the 2016 AGCAS Award for Academic Engagement, sponsored by Gradcore.
Thrive pairs students in their penultimate year of study with a Reading alumnus, aiming to provide the student with a deeper understanding of the type of professional they would like to become, and realise the attributes which will set them apart from other graduates in the labour market.
The scheme is run by Tania Lyden and Natalie Tarling who are both “extremely proud to have been shortlisted”. Natalie commented further on the shortlisting, explaining how “Thrive has seen a number of huge successes over the last two years, through the work that we have completed alongside our incredibly valuable academics. We have a lot to look forward to as the scheme expands across the University and hope to keep making brilliant achievements as the year progresses”.

The winners of all awards will be announced on the evening of Wednesday 7th September at the AGCAS Annual Conference for HE Careers and Employability professionals 2016, Chester.
