itsnews As most of you probably know, the Office 2013 Preview has been out for over a week now for testing by the general public. However, we do not recommend that you run Outlook 2013 Preview.
Our Exchange email infrastructure is not compatible with Outlook 2013 Preview. There is a well-documented risk that your entire mailbox and all associated contents (Calendar, Tasks, Journal, etc.) will be deleted from the Exchange server if you use Outlook 2013 Preview.
IT Services recommends that you do not run Outlook 2013 Preview, and if you do so it is at your own risk. It is a completely unsupported application by both ITS and Microsoft. You should not assume that IT Services will provide any assistance recovering data lost by running unsupported applications.
